A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 began its early Japanese streaming run today, September 26, 2026. ABEMA and U-NEXT will release a new episode every Saturday at 10:30 p.m., one week ahead of the television broadcast. The return of Lufas Maphaahl begins with episode 13, “The Mobile Royal Capital Blutgang Appears!”, opening a broader and more dangerous stage of the journey.

Early streaming and Japanese TV schedule

The official announcement clearly separates streaming from television. Early streaming in Japan began September 26 on ABEMA and U-NEXT. TOKYO MX starts October 3 at 10:30 p.m., BS Asahi follows October 4 at 11:00 p.m., and Kansai TV airs the series late on October 4 at 26:24. Availability and timing can vary outside Japan; Crunchyroll includes the series in its fall lineup, but viewers should check their regional catalog.

That makes episode 13 the season’s actual editorial starting point, not simply a trailer or a future premiere date. The new arc is already live on the Japanese platforms named by the production committee.

What happens in episode 13

The official synopsis resumes after Parthenos’s revelations and the disclosure of the True Dragons. Lufas vows revenge against the Goddess, but she also faces a more intimate threat: the consciousness of the original Lufas appears to be swallowing the protagonist’s own identity. Her overwhelming strength now carries a personal cost.

Virgo joins the group as it heads for Blutgang, the mobile royal capital located in Scorpio’s path. The moving city connects the search for the Twelve Heavenly Stars with the Goddess’s plans and the advance of enemies capable of challenging even Lufas.

New enemies and voice cast

The second promotional video introduces three key figures. Akio Otsuka voices Leon, Atsushi Miyauchi plays Sagittarius, and Shuhei Sakaguchi voices Mercurius. The video features new battle footage and uses Chakura’s “Yurete Sukāto,” the season’s ending theme, while Suspended 4th perform the opening, “Melodic Impact.”

These cast additions broaden the opposing side without abandoning the show’s ensemble structure. With the mystery of Lufas’s identity becoming more urgent, the new confrontations should test both her power and the group’s internal balance.

Confirmed staff and studio

Wao World remains the animation studio. Yuya Horiuchi directs, Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handles series composition, Maiko Ebisawa designs the characters, and TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND provides the music. The anime adapts Fire Head’s light novel, illustrated by YahaKo, with Tsubasa Hazuki’s manga serving as another visual reference.

The key point is straightforward: Season 2 genuinely started streaming on September 26, while Japanese television begins one week later. Blutgang, Virgo and the new opponents push the story straight back into its central conflict without a long reset.
