Ironclad Democracy: What changes on September 22
Arrowhead has revealed Ironclad Democracy as the next Premium Warbond for Helldivers 2. The official September 15, 2026 announcement sets deployment for Tuesday, September 22 and builds its identity around firepower, impact resistance and armored infantry.
The catalogue requires the base game, Super Credits and progression to unlock individual items. Like other Warbonds, it does not expire; once purchased, players can complete it at their own pace with Medals earned during missions.
Three weapons with very different roles
The AR-11 Arbitrator is a rapid assault rifle using caseless ammunition and an underslung shotgun. The GL-15 Evictor is a pump-action grenade launcher with a deliberate single-round reload, designed for controlling groups and positions.
The P-34 Breacher fills the secondary slot and fires sticky, phosphorous-powered projectiles. They burn through armor before delivering an explosive finish, allowing squads to divide sustained fire, area damage and anti-armor duties more deliberately.
Smart grenades, armor and boosters
The G-60 Anti-Tank Seeker is a high-yield grenade drone that follows its user, identifies a nearby target and attacks independently. The G-8 Immolation replaces a conventional blast with a persistent field of fire for closing routes or splitting groups.
BFM-16 Tanker and BFM-220 Ironclad use Blunt-Force Mitigation: 30 percent less impact and collision damage, greater resistance to being knocked down and a higher armor rating. Integrated Extinguishers shortens burning time, while Surplus EAT Allocation grants two free Expendable Anti-Tank uses per mission.
Cosmetics, platforms and open questions
The Warbond also contains two capes, an emote, two player cards, the Treadhead title and three tank-exclusive patterns: Verdant, Glacial and Executive Onyx. These are described as a Premium Warbond first.
Helldivers 2 is available on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X|S. The announcement does not specify a price for Ironclad Democracy, so that detail remains open rather than being replaced by an estimate.
