Daemons of the Shadow Realm Season 2 Is Official
Season 2 is official
Daemons of the Shadow Realm will continue. On September 19, 2026, a second season of the anime based on Hiromu Arakawa’s manga was officially announced as being in production.
The announcement confirms the sequel and introduces new promotional material, but reveals no release date, launch window, episode count or international platforms.
What the announcement actually confirms
Season 2 has entered production, and the official portal hosts a short announcement video. No broadcast schedule has been published.
Crunchyroll carries the complete first season in supported territories. The new announcement does not yet explicitly confirm the platform for Season 2.
The team credited on the anime so far
The official website credits the released anime to director Masahiro Ando, series composer Noboru Takagi, character designer and chief animation director Nobuhiro Arai, composer Kenichiro Suehiro and Bones Film.
Those credits apply to the anime released so far. The announcement does not state that every team member will return unchanged.
Yuru and Asa remain at the center
The story follows twins Yuru and Asa in a world where selected humans control paired supernatural beings known as Tsugai. Kensho Ono and Yume Miyamoto voice the leads.
The continuation should address revelations and conflicts left open by the first season. The new material does not reveal which manga arcs will be adapted.
