Enshrouded 1.0 Launches Today on PC and PS5
Enshrouded leaves Early Access today and launches as version 1.0 on Steam and PlayStation 5. Keen Games has set the release for October 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. CEST. On PC, the update completes Embervale; on PS5 and PS5 Pro, it marks the survival action RPG’s console debut.

Release time, price and platforms
Version 1.0 is priced at €39.99 or $39.99, with a ten-percent launch discount on Steam and PlayStation Store for the first fourteen days. Existing PC Early Access owners do not need to buy the game again. Their saves remain compatible after conversion to a more efficient format, although Keen Games recommends starting over to experience the reworked opening hours, rewards and recipe progression.
Cross-platform play between PC and PlayStation is not available at launch. The studio says it is working on the feature but has not provided a timeframe. Xbox Series X|S is planned for spring 2027 and is therefore not part of today’s release.

Embervale is finally complete
The new Cinder’s Cradle biome completes Embervale’s world map with floating islands, ancient ruins, lava flows, new Hollow Halls and additional enemies. Version 1.0 also adds points of interest to earlier regions and concludes the current storyline, revealing the final pieces behind the kingdom’s fall without presenting this ending as the end of development.
Keen Games plans to support Enshrouded with free and paid content for years. The 1.0 milestone follows eight major updates, fourteen patches and forty-two hotfixes, reaching more than 5.5 million players during Early Access according to the studio.

Level 50, new spells and quality-of-life upgrades
The character level cap rises to 50 and maximum gear level to 55. Combat expands with nine new Mage spells, a broader magic overhaul, more ranged customization, refined animations and an improved camera. Enemy variety also increases across the world, especially in the new endgame biome.
Community-requested changes include Airborne Architect, which lets players fly around their base while building, an auto-loot setting for nearby items, nameable chests and storage upgrades that no longer require replacing the container. The early game also receives clearer pacing, rewards and recipe unlocks.

Sparkworks turns bases into adventures
Sparkworks is the headline addition for builders. Its logic system supports interactive mechanisms, bases, dungeons and custom adventures. Together with Adventure Sharing, it lays the groundwork for publishing and sharing community-made experiences that extend the game beyond its main campaign.
Flexible voxel construction remains central: players can carve homes into mountains, restore ruins and shape entire settlements block by block. Character progression still avoids rigid classes, allowing melee, ranged and magical skills to be mixed within the same build.

PC, PS5 and PS5 Pro: performance and co-op
Co-op supports up to sixteen players on PC and eight on PlayStation 5. PS5 offers a 60 fps Performance Mode and a 30 fps Quality Mode. PS5 Pro has a dedicated 60 fps option that combines quality and performance through PSSR 2.0. Haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are supported on PlayStation.
A new brick renderer improves distant terrain and voxel-building detail. Keen Games has also reworked lighting, shadows, light rays and the atmosphere of each biome while reducing memory use. HDR is available on compatible hardware. The interface supports fifteen languages; full voice acting at launch is available in English, German and Mandarin Chinese.
