Aimé Leon Dore x The North Face FW26: GORE-TEX, Nuptse and Heli Vest Drop Today

Aimé Leon Dore and The North Face launch the second season of their partnership today, September 17, 2026. The 30-piece FW26 capsule places ALD’s New York design language over some of The North Face’s most recognizable technical and archival silhouettes.

The centerpiece is the Mountain Jacket 2000 built from seam-sealed three-layer GORE-TEX. Launch information positions it as the first return of the waterproof material to a The North Face collaboration since 2019.

The Pertex Nuptse adds Cloud Down insulation, an integrated hood and a fully reversible construction. The late-1990s Heli Vest returns from the archive, joined by updated Denali fleece pieces, a Fleece Rugby, Ballistic Tech Vest and outdoor accessories.

The campaign moves between alpine scenery and New York, turning functional outdoor equipment into an urban wardrobe without erasing its technical roots. The campaign imagery used for this story is officially attributed to Aimé Leon Dore.

The collection is scheduled to release today at 11 AM ET through Aimé Leon Dore, The North Face and select retailers. Aimé Leon Dore’s official announcement is dated September 16, 2026, keeping this firmly inside the 24–48 hour editorial window.
