Detective Precure!: Satoru and Daifuku Transform in the Movie
Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Two Secrets released six new official stills on September 23, 2026. The images show Detective Precure!, Kimi to Idol Precure♪ and Wonderful Precure! meeting, while confirming that Satoru Toyama and Daifuku join the action with a transformation of their own.
A crossover inside Karin's Garden
The new stills bring the three teams together in Karin's Garden. Cure Idol, Cure Wink and Cure Kyun-Kyun follow a singing voice, while Pochitan meets Purirun and Meroron. From Wonderful Precure!, Cure Wonderful and Cure Friendy arrive alongside Cure Nyammy, Cure Lillian, Satoru and Daifuku.
Satoru and Daifuku: the September 23 reveal
The official announcement says Satoru and Daifuku transform to support the Wonderful Precure! team and help the Detective Precures when they are in danger. Satoru voice actor Takuya Terashima welcomed the character's return and the opportunity to fight beside Daifuku.
Daifuku voice actor Yuichi Nakamura describes the appearance as brief but memorable. The official site deliberately withholds the full sequence, so the stills confirm the crossover without revealing how it resolves.
Release, staff and availability
The movie opened in Japanese theaters on September 18, 2026. Hanako Ueda directs, Yoshimi Narita writes the screenplay, and Emiko Miyamoto handles character design and chief animation direction. Erika Fukasawa and Misaki Mase compose the music. No North American or European theatrical date, or international streaming platform, has been announced.
Why the reveal matters
The transformation expands the role of two popular supporting characters and connects three recent Precure generations in one scene. It is also a concrete post-release update supported by official images and direct comments from both voice actors.
