MURCIÉLAGO: New Trailer, Cast and January 2027 Premiere
The official MURCIÉLAGO website published a new teaser, an updated visual and character art for its main trio on October 21, 2026. The video provides the first sample of the lead voices and confirms a January 2027 television and streaming premiere, although an exact date has not been announced.

Three voices for an unpredictable trio
Hitomi Ueda voices Kuroko Koumori, a former death-row inmate turned state-sanctioned executioner against extremely dangerous criminals. Minori Suzuki plays Hinako Tozakura, her partner and minder with extraordinary driving skills. Sumire Uesaka voices Chiyo Yanaoka, Kuroko's partner and the daughter of the Yanaoka family boss.

The new visual brings Kuroko, Hinako and Chiyo together against a city divided between daylight and a nighttime atmosphere. It captures the series' central contrast: ordinary life, black comedy and sudden violence share the same narrative space.
Satelight and Staple Entertainment share animation duties
Takashi Naoya serves as chief director and handles series composition, while Matsuo Asami directs. Ryo Nakamura is assistant director, Kiyoshi Tateishi designs the characters, and Masanori Akita and Yuichi Tsuchiya compose the music.
Animation production is shared by Satelight and Staple Entertainment. The technical staff also includes Kirie Tanaka on color design, Hiroki Ozaki as art director, Ryoto Fukuda as director of photography, Satomi Yamada as editor and Noboru Haraguchi as sound director.

What the new teaser actually shows
The teaser introduces Kuroko and Hinako's dynamic as a stream of new assignments reaches the protagonist. Its scenes promise chases, close-quarters action and the extreme tone of Yoshimurakana's Square Enix manga.

MURCIÉLAGO builds its identity around the clash between an ordinary-looking city and constant danger. The new promotional material clarifies the trio's roles and indicates how the adaptation plans to retain the original work's provocative identity.

Premiere and streaming: What is confirmed
The Japanese premiere remains set for January 2027. HIDIVE has announced the series for the same month, but availability across Italy, Germany and other European territories has not been confirmed consistently. The exact date, airtimes and dubbed versions also remain unannounced.
An interrupted signal: NO SIGNAL on canvas

For an image built around absence and interruption, THE SIGNAL // 11 NO SIGNAL is available as a canvas from the Smart GFX shop for €28.90. This is an independent editorial recommendation with no affiliation to Square Enix, Satelight, Staple Entertainment, HIDIVE or the anime production committee.
