Welsh & Shedar Gets International Trailer and Global YouTube Premiere
Welsh & Shedar is preparing its international launch with a new trailer and a precise schedule: Episode 1 premieres free on the official Krosmoz YouTube channel on November 5, 2026, followed by Episode 2 on November 6.
The October 19 announcement brings the French-Japanese adventure set in the Krosmoz to a global audience. The series has aired on TOKYO MX since October 2, but YouTube now provides its first official, widely accessible international release window.

A free global premiere on Krosmoz
The new Krosmoz channel is bringing together Ankama's animated productions and will handle the international release of Welsh & Shedar. Episode 1 is scheduled for November 5 and Episode 2 for the following day, with weekly releases thereafter. Japanese, English and French audio tracks have been announced, alongside multilingual subtitles.

Two boys, two worlds and the power of the Dofus
Welsh is a kind-hearted 16-year-old and talented cook raised in peaceful Broccoli Village. An attack by the dragon Azaral and the arrival of the hero Joris pull him into a much larger conflict. Shedar, meanwhile, is the composed prince of Bonta: he supports Queen Zabel, but begins to question her plan of conquest built around the power of the Dofus.

Studio MASSKET and a production spanning France and Japan
Naoki Horiuchi directs the series at Studio MASSKET. Saori Nakashiki handles character design and also serves among the chief animation directors, while Kenichi Yamashita oversees series composition for the Japanese version. Tot is credited with the original concept, screenplay and initial series-composition plan. Ankama and Studio Dream Catcher produce the series.

Cast and music
The Japanese leads are Rikuya Yasuda as Welsh and Yuki Kaji as Shedar. Yuko Kaida voices Queen Zabel, Makoto Furukawa plays Joris, Wataru Takagi is Kahn Karkas, Risa Hayamizu is Mama Caroni and Show Hayami voices the dragon Azaral. Pierre-Jean Beaudoin and Jose Pavli compose the score; the main theme, “Bokura no Mirai e,” brings together Hironobu Kageyama and Masami Okui.

Japanese broadcast and international window
In Japan, Welsh & Shedar airs Fridays at 9:25 p.m. on TOKYO MX. d Anime Store and U-NEXT offer the earliest streams from 10:00 p.m. the same day, with additional Japanese services joining from October 7. For international viewers, the official Krosmoz YouTube channel is the confirmed destination beginning November 5.

What remains unconfirmed
The international rollout is described as worldwide outside Japan, but a complete subtitle-language list and exact release times for every territory have not yet been detailed. No European home-video editions have been announced either. The YouTube schedule is therefore the verified window, while any additional platforms remain unconfirmed.
THE SIGNAL // 10 BREAKPOINT — Canvas
The journey from Welsh's village to the power of Bonta turns on a fracture that changes every balance. That makes BREAKPOINT, artwork number 10 in THE SIGNAL collection, a fitting companion to this feature. The canvas is available from the Smart GFX shop for €28.90.

Independent commercial selection by Smart GFX. This product is not a collaboration, sponsorship or endorsement by Ankama, Studio MASSKET, Studio Dream Catcher or any distributor mentioned in this article.
