The climbing party just got bigger. PEAK has been available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S since October 22, complete with cross-play between console and PC. The console editions include every content update released so far, while the mountain continues to rebuild itself every 24 hours.

The console launch completes the party

Aggro Crab and Landfall confirm that PEAK can be climbed solo or in a party of up to four people: one player can invite as many as three friends. With cross-play enabled, the platform no longer separates the group across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The console edition does not begin as a reduced build. According to the official announcements, it includes the content updates, additional biomes, items, features, and cosmetics introduced since the PC release.

A new mountain every 24 hours

The defining structure remains intact: a procedurally generated mountain changes every day. Each attempt crosses four biomes, introducing different routes, hazards, and decisions. Finding the right handhold is only part of the problem—hunger, injuries, and stamina can turn one small mistake into a fall for the whole party.

Cooperation, tools, and controlled chaos

The movement of the other climbers is more than visual flavor. A well-placed rope can open a route, timely help can pull a friend over a ledge, and the shared management of food and supplies determines how far the team can travel. Ropes, spikes, survival items, and the ability to read the terrain become part of a constant conversation.

The mood stays playful and unpredictable, but the stamina system demands planning. Moving too quickly, ignoring an injury, or wasting supplies can compromise the entire ascent.

From a game jam to a shared project

PEAK grew out of a collaboration between Aggro Crab and Landfall. The studios brought their teams together in Seoul for a one-month game jam, then turned the experiment into a complete game under the Team PEAK name. That origin helps explain its mix of physical precision, emergent comedy, and cooperation.

Platforms and launch content

PEAK is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The October 22 console launch supports cross-play and preserves the formula for one to four players. The official pages confirm four biomes per expedition, a mountain that changes daily, and all content updates released to date.

A mirror test beyond the screen

For players who see PEAK's climb as a test of personal limits, the Smart GFX selection features THE SIGNAL // 06 MIRROR TEST — Canvas, available for 28,90 €. It is a visual work about confronting the self, created for walls and creative spaces.
