Death Stranding Isolations Reveals First Teaser, Staff and Story
Kojima Productions released the first teaser for Death Stranding Isolations on October 30, 2026. The 45-second video introduces the animated series set in Hideo Kojima’s universe and confirms a 2027 debut exclusively on Disney+ or other Disney services. An exact date, territories and dubbed versions have not been announced.
A new story after America is reconnected
The story takes place in North America immediately after Sam reconnects the continent through the Chiral Network. Its central character is a girl raised in isolation after her mother became a crater during the Death Stranding. Unexpected encounters force her into a world she no longer recognizes.
Four paths at the edge of the network
The synopsis also introduces an old man who connects people through an inexplicable method, a female soldier caught in a cycle of war and destruction, and a boy whose rage is directed at the absurdity of his life. They follow paths different from those chosen by Sam and his Bridges allies.
Hand-drawn animation from E&H production
Takayuki Sano directs at E&H production, the studio behind Ninja Kamui and Bullet/Bullet. Ilya Kuvshinov created the original character designs, while Sayaka Koiso adapts the characters for animation. Hideo Kojima serves as executive producer and Kojima Productions produces the series.

Death Stranding Isolations is separate from the animated film Death Stranding Mosquito and the live-action adaptation. For now, the only confirmed window is 2027 on Disney+ or other Disney services. Episode count, schedule, voice cast, European availability and languages remain unannounced.
