Future Games Show Gamescom 2026: Leon and Grace Lead the Show
Future Games Show returns to Gamescom on August 26, 2026 with a clearly defined format: more than 40 games, world premieres, exclusive trailers and developer interviews. The most recognizable addition is the hosting duo of Nick Apostolides and Angela Sant’Albano, the performers behind Leon S. Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft in Resident Evil Requiem.
Date, time and where to watch
The main show is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26 at 7:00 PM CEST. GamesRadar, organizer of the Future Games Show, confirms broadcasts on YouTube, Twitch, Steam, X, Facebook and GamesRadar+, along with regional services such as Bilibili and KuaiShou.
What is already confirmed
Games already named include Tides of Annihilation, Onimusha: Way of the Sword and NO LAW. Tides of Annihilation is set to receive behind-the-scenes material, while NO LAW will feature an appearance from Neon Giant. The organizers say the show will include more than 40 games in total, but the full list and any surprise reveals remain under wraps.
Three Gamescom appointments
After the main Future Games Show, FGS Live From Gamescom will bring additional content directly from the Cologne show floor. On Sunday, August 30, FGS Best Of Gamescom will recap the most important reveals from the week.
Confirmed facts versus expectations
The date, time, hosts, 40-plus games and already announced titles are confirmed. A new Resident Evil announcement, a dedicated Requiem presentation or unnamed world premieres are not. The presence of Leon and Grace’s performers is tied to hosting duties and should not automatically be read as a Capcom reveal.
