No Man’s Sky: FORSAKEN Is Live with Biomechanical Corvettes and Seamless Warping

Hello Games released No Man’s Sky: FORSAKEN on October 28, 2026. Free update 7.10 brings the darker side of its procedural universe into derelict hulks, infested outposts and deep-space expeditions, but it is more than a seasonal event: new travel, construction and quality-of-life systems are now permanent parts of the game.

The central activity is the hunt for haunting mementos. These biological samples and rare technologies attract mysterious traders willing to exchange them for organic-looking corvette modules. FORSAKEN is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Game Pass; No Man’s Sky also launched on iPhone and iPad on the same day.

Haunting mementos and traders at the edge of space

The new objects appear in some of the galaxy’s most dangerous places: deep-space hulks, abandoned freighters, palaeontological dig sites and infested outposts. Staying close to the samples for too long attracts hostile boundary horrors, turning recovery into more than a routine resource-gathering exercise.

Mementos can be used to summon FORSAKEN traders at deep-space outposts. Their exchanges unlock biomechanical hulls, cockpits and habitation modules for corvettes. Persistent salvagers can also earn the Larva Tank helmet, the Mind Harvester title and the Larva Cannon, a Multi-Tool built around a preserved creature.

Stranger corvettes and expanded interiors

The update significantly expands corvette construction. Vantage, Hornet, Viper and Mantis-class cockpits offer different silhouettes and fields of view, while Legion modules introduce more severe interiors built around low ceilings, recessed lighting and military-looking geometry.

These parts can transform an existing corvette or provide the foundation for an entirely biomechanical ship. They are therefore more than cosmetic rewards: they plug directly into the modular construction system established by earlier updates and meaningfully broaden its visual language.

Direct warping, minimal HUD and courier contracts

FORSAKEN lets players target nearby stars visible in space and travel to them directly without opening the Galaxy Map. Seamless warping makes movement between systems feel more natural and reinforces the idea that every bright point in the sky is a real destination.

The update also adds a radial selector for Multi-Tool modes, a minimal HUD that hides non-essential markers and new courier contracts. Players equipped with a corvette and Gravitino Coil can carry packages between outposts, while bases constructed in deep space can now be uploaded to the shared server for other Travellers to visit.

iOS, accessibility and optimisation

The iOS release includes the full game and more than forty updates, with FORSAKEN available on day one. Hello Games lists iPhone 11 or later and third-generation iPad Air or later as the starting devices, and a portion of the experience can be tried for free before purchase.

Mobile development has also produced wider benefits: purpose-built touch controls, numerous accessibility adjustments, memory optimisation for Xbox Series and VR, improved texture-memory use on PS4 and fixes for multiplayer aboard corvettes. The result is a Halloween-themed release whose technical impact reaches far beyond its seasonal atmosphere.
