The Wolf Among Us Remastered Launches With Noir Mode and Lost Scenes
Fabletown has opened its doors again. The Wolf Among Us Remastered launched digitally on October 29, 2026, putting Bigby Wolf back at the center of the noir investigation. The launch covers PlayStation 5, Xbox One — also playable on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility — and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. The Nintendo Switch version has moved to a later date, while physical editions are scheduled for early 2027.

Fabletown rebuilt for modern hardware
The new edition includes all five original episodes and goes beyond a resolution boost. Telltale and co-developer Trick Studios upgraded environments, characters, animation, audio and lighting. On the PlayStation Blog, the team details new shaders, fully relit scenes, and rebuilt models and textures designed to preserve the comic-book identity.

Noir Mode turns black-and-white into a playable look
Noir Mode can be toggled on or off at any time. All of Fabletown is presented in black and white, intensifying the shadows, rain, neon and hard-boiled detective-story contrast.

Five Lost Scenes and a collector's archive
The remaster adds five fully playable deleted scenes, described by Telltale as Lost Scenes. It also includes a gallery of more than 100 images and over an hour of developer interviews documenting the original game.

Bigby's choices can carry into the sequel
By connecting a Telltale account, choices made in the remaster can carry into The Wolf Among Us 2. Players who skip this edition can still define their past decisions at the beginning of the sequel.

Platforms: what is available now
As of October 29, the digital edition is confirmed for PS5, Xbox One and PC. It works on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility. Switch does not yet have a new date; physical versions will arrive separately in early 2027.

At the wolf's origin: 01 ORIGIN

To mark Bigby's return, we selected THE SIGNAL // 01 ORIGIN — Canvas, a Smart GFX work centered on origin and available for €28.90. This is a separate commercial placement with full editorial independence: Smart GFX is not affiliated with Telltale, PM Studios, Trick Studios, DC, Sony or Microsoft.
