Baratie Number Two officially opened for business on October 23, 2026. Bandai Namco confirmed the launch of ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet, a single-player management simulation developed by Kairosoft for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, iOS and Android.

The premise is easy to grasp but broad in scope: work with the Straw Hat Crew to turn a small restaurant ship into the most celebrated dining spot on the seas. Ingredients, recipes and a modest set of furnishings lead into regular customers, character events, specialist shops and new routes.

Characters inside the restaurant in ONE PIECE Grand Gourmet

More than 400 familiar faces can appear as staff or customers.

More than 400 characters as staff and customers

Bandai Namco says more than 400 ONE PIECE characters appear in a lively pixel-art style, either working as staff or visiting as customers. Their preferences, requests and dedicated events shape the restaurant’s development rather than serving as background decoration.

Keeping visitors happy builds a loyal following. Some customers may even open specialist shops inside the restaurant, gradually turning Baratie Number Two into a busy floating marketplace.

Cooking and menu system in ONE PIECE Grand Gourmet

Sanji helps players choose ingredients, create dishes and assemble set menus.

Cook with Sanji and build custom set menus

Cooking remains the core loop. Players gather ingredients, develop dishes with Sanji and combine them into complete set menus. Official examples include Water-Water Meat BBQ and Sea King Penne Gorgonzola, alongside recipes inspired by Devil Fruit powers.

Dishes and décor need to match character preferences. That ties the management systems directly to the source material instead of presenting the roster as a list of cameos.

Restaurant customization in ONE PIECE Grand Gourmet

More than 200 furniture, building and decorative items are available.

More than 200 ways to furnish the restaurant

Customization includes over 200 pieces of furniture, building items and decorations. Themes range from Whole Cake Island to the technology of Egghead. Changing the layout and atmosphere can attract different visitors and turn occasional customers into regulars.

This is where Kairosoft’s design language is clearest: readable numbers, steady growth and small decisions whose effects are immediately visible.

Platforms and what to know before setting sail

ONE PIECE: Grand Gourmet is a single-player game for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam, the App Store and Google Play. On mobile, compatibility and data charges vary by device and carrier.

This is not a new Pirate Warriors entry for players seeking real-time combat. Its focus is production, layout, customer satisfaction and restaurant growth. For Kairosoft fans, the appeal lies in the large roster and the freedom to build a personalized themed venue.
