Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy puts Stormind Games’ Sicilian roots and Mount Etna at the heart of horror
Survival horror genuinely rooted in Sicily
Stormind Games is back in focus with Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy, the final chapter of its survival-horror trilogy. For the Italian scene, the key detail is that Sicily is not decorative scenery: the residence on Mount Etna, religious imagery and Italian neo-giallo shape the game’s identity.

Mount Etna, a villa and Italian neo-giallo
Susan searches for her missing daughter inside an isolated noble residence on the slopes of Mount Etna. Stormind describes the game as a modern return to classic survival horror built around exploration, puzzles, Stalkers and a reality distorted by memory and hypnosis.
From territory to level design, Italian identity here is narrative material rather than decoration.

Psychic powers without losing the survival-horror core
Retrocognition, secrets in mirrors and moth manipulation change how players investigate environments. Melee weapons remain limited: the idea is not to turn Remothered into an action game, but to give players a little more agency in critical moments.

That meeting of place, memory and mechanics is what makes Red Nun’s Legacy especially interesting for Italy’s indie scene.
Akira Yamaoka scores the game
The project also connects directly to horror history through Akira Yamaoka, the legendary Silent Hill composer. Cissy Jones voices Susan, while Maggie Robertson plays the Red Nun.
