Two Sides of Hell: Italian indie Red Sky Games launches its two-form roguelite on Steam

Two Sides of Hell launched on Steam on September 17, 2026. Developed by small Italian indie studio Red Sky Games and published by Stratos Gaming, the action roguelite has a focused hook: fast twin-stick arcade combat split between two radically different forms.

Soldier or Demon

Soldier form is about precision, mobility and firepower. Defeating powerful abominations can trigger a demonic transformation: conventional weapons disappear and combat shifts toward aggressive melee and abilities inspired by fallen bosses.

Every run reshuffles the fight

Procedural levels change enemy compositions, hazards, weapons and boss encounters. Steam lists more than 20 enemy types and over 70 tools spanning weapons, upgrades and abilities. Death still feeds progression: collected resources unlock permanent Hangar upgrades, while Power Plates reshape builds further.

Local co-op and Remote Play Together

Two Sides of Hell supports single-player and local co-op, with Steam Remote Play Together extending that local session across distance. Achievements, Endless play, leaderboards and multiple endings add more reasons to replay. A free demo is also available for players who want to test the core loop first.

An Italian three-person indie

Launch coverage describes Red Sky Games as a three-person Italian independent studio.
